You have selected a State which is not a Party to the Basel Convention. The Basel Convention provides that a Party shall not permit hazardous wastes or other wastes to be exported to a non-Party or to be imported from a non-Party, unless an agreement or arrangement regarding transboundary movement of hazardous wastes or other wastes has been entered with the non-Party, bearing in mind that the agreement or arrangement must stipulate provisions which are not less environmentally sound than those provided for by the Basel Convention. Such agreements and arrangements must be notified to the Secretariat and are available on the website of the Basel Convention.
1- Check whether the State of import not Party to the Convention and to which you wish to export from has entered a bilateral or multilateral agreement or arrangement with a Party.
2 - Check also with the competent authority of the State of import to make sure you have all the information at hand.
If there is such an agreement or arrangement, its provisions would apply. If there is no such agreement or arrangement, the transboundary movement is not allowed under the Convention.
